From Diane D and family:

My husband and I have a lot of experience with rescues and currently have two others. We lost a good ole boy that completed our pack for 16 years last summer.

Recently, we found ourselves commenting on all the shelter dog photos and when this little black pug showed up looking for a foster in our area, we thought we would give it a go. We’ll love him, instruct him and send him on his way. I’m proud to admit that we are foster failures and fell in love with Frank right away.

Frank is so young and curious and bouncy; he’s getting more vocal but mostly loves to nudge us with his nose to get our attention. He has now settled in as one of the pack. He is the shadow to our next youngest rescue, Butch. As a good older brother, Butch is teaching him all the rules of the house, including treat distribution. Roscoe, the older rescue, is happy to just boss everyone around.

As anybody who has ever rescued a dog knows, it is truly who rescued who as you begin to trust each other and be gifted with their true personality. We have such a mix of different dogs and people in our home yet each one fits perfectly as a puzzle piece. I wish we could foster/adopt them all. Thank you so much for fostering and loving Frank so much that you chose to Adopt him!
